The RTR EntomoCentre is a multidisciplinary animation team made up of three people, with complementary profiles and experiences, deployed in Orléans and Tours, in order to be closer to its partners in the Center-Val de Loire region. An agile organization around the 4 actions of the network: Research, Training, Innovation and Diffusion.
David Giron

David Giron is a research director at the CNRS where he studies plant-insect-microorganism interactions and the production of insects for food. He also heads the Institut de Recherche sur la Biologie de l'Insecte (IRBI), a centre of expertise in entomology based in Tours. Whether through European, national or regional programmes, he works to promote the use of insects for ecological, industrial and educational purposes.

Carlos Lopez-Vaamonde

Carlos Lopez-Vaamonde is a research scientist at INRAE Centre Val de Loire in Orléans where he works on developing and implementing molecular methods (DNA (meta)barcoding) for biosurveillance of quarantine pests and biomonitoring of forest biodiversity.

 

Emma Grolleau

 Emma is an administrative technician at INRAE Centre Val de Loire in Orléans for the ENTOMOCENTRE network
